The AO Audit (“we,” “us”) is operated by Bara Design Media LLC, Sacramento, California. This policy explains what we collect when you use aoaudit.com and how we handle it. Questions: aojedamedia@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Information you submit to scan. When you run a free scan, you give us a website address (and optionally a business name). We fetch and analyze that public website to produce your AO Score.
- Contact details for your report. If you request your full report, we collect the name and email address you enter. We use the email to send your report and to reply if you write back.
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, general location, device type, and events such as starting a scan. This uses cookies (see below).
- Standard technical logs. Our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically record standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
We do not collect payment card information on this website. Purchases are handled by our payment providers (Stripe and Gumroad), who process that data under their own privacy policies.
How we use your information
- To run your scan and generate your AO Report.
- To send you your report and respond to your messages.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site and our service.
- To send you information about our services if you have contacted us or bought from us — you can opt out anytime by replying to any email.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate:
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
- GitHub Pages — website hosting.
- FormSubmit — processes the report-request form.
- Google (Gmail) — sends your report by email.
- Cloudflare — routing and scanning infrastructure.
- Stripe and Gumroad — payment processing for paid products.
- Google Places API — for interested leads and clients, we may look up your business’s public Google rating and review count.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies for Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them, though analytics won’t count your visit.
Data retention
We keep scan submissions, report requests, and correspondence only as long as needed to provide our service and for reasonable business and legal purposes, then delete them.
Your choices
Email aojedamedia@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to request a correction, or to request deletion. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll change the effective date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
