Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of aoaudit.com and the services offered by The AO Audit, operated by Bara Design Media LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the site or buying our products, you agree to these terms.

What we offer

Free AO scan. An automated audit of a website’s visibility to AI search engines, producing an “AO Score” and findings.
Paid products. The AI-Search Authority Playbook (a digital guide), “The Answer” (a one-time done-for-you optimization service), and “AO Care” (a monthly maintenance subscription). We may also offer consulting, marketing, and design services.

The scan is informational — no guarantee of results

Our reports describe our findings about a website’s machine-readability and how AI engines respond on the day we check. AI systems change constantly and vary by query and location. We do not and cannot guarantee any specific ranking, citation, recommendation, traffic, or revenue outcome. The free scan is provided “as is,” and automated checks may occasionally be incomplete or in error; anything we could not verify is labeled as such rather than counted against you.

Acceptable use

Only submit websites you own or are authorized to audit. Don’t use the scanner to overload, probe, or attack sites, and don’t misuse or attempt to disrupt our service.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe (services) and Gumroad (the playbook). The playbook carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. For “The Answer,” our guarantee is that every fix is implemented and verified, or it’s free. Concretely: your AO Report lists the specific fixes in scope; “implemented and verified” means each listed fix is live on your site or profiles and passes our re-scan, which we show you. If we fail to deliver any in-scope fix within 30 days of starting (excluding delays from access we’re still waiting on from you), you get a full refund of the $497 — your choice, no argument. This guarantee covers the implementation work, not any specific ranking or AI-recommendation outcome (see above). “AO Care” renews monthly until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and it stops at the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual property

The site, reports, playbook, and our content are owned by Bara Design Media LLC. You may use your own report for your business, but you may not resell or republish our content as your own.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question (the free scan is free, so no fee applies to it). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes will be handled in the courts located in California.

Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change, and continued use means you accept the update.
